Back on Halo 3 again! The microsoft internal beta came out a few days ago. Been playing it. It's so amazing. I wish I could say more, but to everybody who got crackdown just for the beta and said "Is this worth it?"

Sorry I haven't been on in a while. I forgot to brag about the most important gaming-related thing that happened to me

I've been playing Halo 3 since January!

But they just shut down the Halo 3 Alpha (alpha comes before beta, and the Halo 3 beta comes out soon!) so I won't be playing it any more. But have no fear, I'm automatically enlisted in the Beta :)

So yes I'm bragging, and yes, I enjoy it greatly.

EDIT: APPARENTLY YOU DUMMIES DIDN'T READ THIS CAREFULLY. IF I DECLINE THE INVITE THE FIRST TIME, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I'LL ACCEPT IT THE SECOND TIME?!?!?!?!?! STOP SENDING ME MULTIPLE INVITES TO THE SAME UNION!!

I'm so tired of getting union invites! If you're spamming everybody on your friends list for the second time, think about it. WHY DID THEY DECLINE THE INVITE THE FIRST TIME? I've been sent mulitple invites to many different unions. When you're inviting people, skip over my name UNLESS:

It's Xbox 360 related
It's Xbox related
It's Xbox Live related
It's Halo (series) related
It's Simpsons Related

P.S. Cartmanstein - no more invites to the Wii60 union. I think the Wii will be just as lame and child-oriented as the Gamecube was.

I'm not sure if anybody else out there does this, because I am the nerdiest of them all when it comes to the Simpsons (fortunately outside of that show I do pretty good in keeping the nerdiness down :P), but I just preordered the 8th season on DVD. And yes, I do have EVERY SEASON from 1 through 7 already on DVD. It comes out on August 15th, the day that I leave, so when I come back a few days later, it should be waiting for me :D.

Just in case you haven't been keeping up with the recent Halo 3 news, I'm going to fill you in. I can't control my excitement over the last three videos I've seen.

The first is the announcement trailer, which gives me goosebumps. It's that exciting. It's a little over two minutes. I generally don't swear much, but it's ****ing awesome. It can be found here (don't worry, it opens in a new window. So do the other two links).

The second is Bungie's seven-minute special about Halo 3 and it's recent trailer. There is no word to describe how incredibly happy/excited/crazed I felt when watching this. That one is found here.

The last of the movies is an IGN exclusive. Fortunately, you don't have to be a member to watch it. It's mainly about Halo 3, but the first few minutes of this fourteen-minute giant are about Halo 1, Halo 2, and their general success. A lot of it is speculation. It's definitely interesting , but didn't put me in a state of... looking for a word... pure bliss that the other videos did. It's found on this page.

Make sure that for the last two videos, you watch low or medium resolutions. And don't stream them, you need to save these massive files. Streaming any of them is very slow. And if you even think about watching the high resolution videos, you better have a lot of time to burn while it downloads. You'll be glad you saved them to your computer, and the resolutions hardly make a difference. But no matter what you do, stream or save, and no matter what the resolution, you'll watch these over, and over, and over again.

So today, there was a lot of talk of the devil going around because today is "666". What really bugged me was how everybody was sayin how today would be Judgement Day, but I pointed out that every 100 years they have a 666 day. And nothin happened 100 years from today. Then these stupid people (there were four of them) were saying, "No there wasn't! This is the first one!" I just responded, "You're  dumb****s" and left it at that. Finally, as I walked away, I heard one of them saying, "Oh wait, he's right."

So yes, I am a party pooper. But come on people, get over it.

P.S. Let's honor the brave soldiers who lost their lives winning World War II exactly 62 years ago today. There, that has nothing devil related in it.

So a few blog entry things ago, I complained about the absence of Diablo in Blizzard's lineup. Well I recently recieved some devestating news. I learned that the Diablo team of Blizzard (called Blizzard North) was split up, and a lot of those guys now work for Flagship Studios. Flagship Studios is currently working on "Hellgate: London", a shooting game for the PC.

Goodbye Diablo. We salute you.
