Just purchased the entire Civ V catalogue for 22 bucks, compared to 110 or so regular price. I've only played a few sessions, so I'm green, but if anyone else is picking it up and wants to try a multiplayer game, even a turn by turn long term game, let me know! I'd like to test my terrible skills against real people!

Apples and Oranges...you would choose whichever director makes the style of movie that appeals to you more. So it's not a debate as to the better director, it's a debate as to the personal appeal of either director.
That being said, Nolan for me. The entire filmography appeals to me more than Tarantino. I enjoy them both very much, however, so it's a win-win situation.
I've had an HTC 8x since last year, and I absolutely love it. I'm a permanent believer in the WP ecosystem. I went from being a die hard Android adopter from day one. It's not that I disliked the Android at all, it's just that I prefer a little more closed system in the phone to ensure it works at peak performance and can handle any software thrown at it. With Android, there was just too much changing, and frankly I could spend so much time just getting the screen to look just right, that it became a job. With WP8, I have some freedom (more than IPhone) but I also benefit from the closed system. Everything runs lightning quick still today, and the interface is easy and sensible. It also pairs up with just about anything I need.
Basically I am a convert. Now that Nokia is fully in the fold, it will only get better.
people dont have the right to burn down buildings of people who had nothing to do with a crime[QUOTE="BossPerson"]

Some radical savage muslims decapitated a british soldier. This is perfectly understandable. People have the right to be angry and vent.

oh yea, i forgot you're a fascist helghast
The quran calls for an eye for an eye so:
a random british soldier was decapitated in the middle of the street
a random Islamic center was burned down
I don't see why muslims would have a problem with it.
Because that's not how a working society operates. "Well, they are bad, so we should be able to be bad too." My children use that argument. Are you relying on a children's argument to justify bad behavior? If it's wrong, it's wrong.[QUOTE="hartsickdiscipl"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Eh. The US government doesn't really have enough employees to spy on everyone.BPoole96
It's not about manpower, it's about technology. Â They definitely have the technology. Â Obviously there isn't someone sitting there listening to each and every conversation that goes on in real time. Â You should know better than to try to use an argument like that. Â
It's probably done for background checks on people. That way of someone is caught doing something, the NSA, has access to see their entire network of people the associate with. I am a criminal justice major and have learned all about this kind of stuff. As long as you're not doing anything illegal you really have nothing to worry about and nobody will ever look at your calls As a criminal justice major you should have, or perhaps will, spend some time learning about the Constitution and the Supreme Court and how that Court has interpreted that document. With that knowledge, I would hope that you would abandon the ridiculous notion that "as long as you aren't doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about." I was a CJ major, and I continued that with my J.D., so I spend every day dealing with issues of government interactions with citizens, and the idea that you should just stand idly by as your rights are trampled is despicable. Where do you fall on the recent decision that allows law enforcement to take DNA samples after simply being arrested, as opposed to a felony conviction that used to be required? My ID isnt' showing up? I'm not super familiar with all the working of Steam, but my Steam ID is the account name, correct? That would be jasonronning. Or is it the name by which I'm known in the community section? That would be Sparty.
Either way, if it's still available, I'd be interested!
Wow, no real mention of Windows 8 phones...I have the HTC 8x, that and the Lumia 922 are great great phones. I love the Windows8 OS. I understand people not liking it because it is so different, but I"ve used it for a month and haven't missed Android for a single moment.
It's fantastic. The gameplay itself isn't difficult, and it's marred by the occasional quicktime event. The strength of the game lies in the storytelling, and the true writing of the characters. It's really well written, and you really relate to the lead character. His relationship with one other main character is one of the most true and compelling relationships I've ever experienced in a game.
Worth every penny.
