Everyone keeps saying that Gamespot is dead. Gamespot has no credibility. Gamespot has no integrity. I'm disgusted with you people. You base your "betrayal" on speculation and rumours instead of listening to the one's who this has effected most, the rest of the staff at Gamespot. YOU feel betrayed? Gamespot let YOU down? No, no sir.You will not come into this forum and say **** like that when there are people sitting in a quite office buildinginSan Francisco right now who are all but devastated by these events.

Wow...after the Hotspot I don't know what to say. It is really hitting home. You guys can keep on shouting and banging on CNet's door for more answers, but I'm good. Call me gullible, call me a fool, but I believe them. I may even go out and buy Kane & Lynch tomorrow.

Do I still think GameSpot has credibility? Yes. If not more than I did previously. I'm even considering going out to get a job just to upgrade my account. I may not have been around this site as long as a lot of others still here, but I do feel like I have some sort of connection with the editorial staff and I do believe everything they said on the HotSpot is the complete and utter truth.

Am I ok with Jeff leaving? Hell no.I'm glad it's not aboutadvertisement moneythough, and it's not like he is dead. In fact, his gamer card shows hehas beenplaying Kane & Lynch. I still want to know what happened of course, but I can wait until the time comes.

I'm done shouting. I'm done protesting. I'm going to go play some damn video games.

Nevermind, I found out my video store cleans disks. Lock this if you want mods.

I'm new to the whole 360 thing as I just got mine less than 2 months ago, and to say the least I learned today not to move the console while the game is running. AT ALL. Are there any ways besides buying a new disk or repair kit to fix this mess of a game? And it's RockBand, so I can't do the replacement service either.

We have to take it slowly. They'll come to realize eventually that none of us are going to take this. We just have to keep fighting, that's all we can do.

I can't believe this, do they not realize almost everyone is leaving? Yet they still pull this bull **** telling us it wasn't about the review. What the hell do we have to do?

Attention.

Please do not go on GameSpot, GameFAQs, CNET, Download.com, TV.com, et cetera... do not go on ANY CNET site. Logout and DO NOT GO ON AT ALL from 12am EST on Monday (that's midnight tonight) until 12am EST on Tuesday. Don't come on the site, don't Google the site, don't click on a link to the site - don't do ANYTHING that generates a page view, search engine hit, or *anything*

A lot of Gamespotter's more prominant posters will be taking this action to show solidarity with the staff (and Jeff) who have to fear their jobs being lost if they speak their mind. So for their inability to speak on this issue *we'll show CNET our silence*.

This issue is bigger than you, it's bigger than me - it's bigger than GameSpot. This is about big business being able to use *buy* public opinion. Rather than live in a world where the media is controlled entirely by those with the most money, I want to live in a world where gamers who are living for their hobby (these guys truly work because of their passion for gaming, not the paycheck) can say what they truly feel about a game.

So let's do the right thing and show solidarity with Jeff Gerstmann - if he can't go to work on Monday at GameSpot then neither will we.
