Mass Effect. I will not deny that Bad Company was pretty fun...but honestly it's more of a rental IMO. The multiplayer honestly disappointed me... thus making it worthy of renting to finish the main story, which was entertaining. However for ME, the story is unmatched and it's made by Bioware, which to my knowledge is incapable of making a bad game. Also, if you get ME you will be able to have a save file for ME2, which is expected to be released early 2010.
After buying and owning the big three, here is my impression. IMO - Wii - Not enough quality games. Was not worth the buy, or maybe I just haven't found the quality games yet? possibly I didn't like it because I was so accustomed to normal controller ( damn PS1 ) hey, my girl likes it so thats a plus. PS3 - Despite having rumored no games...has a decent library and as shown by E309 Sony has not even gotten started. Expensive...but oh I do love Blu-Ray. 360 - I love my Xbox, when my game isn't freezing or I have RRoD................ best library of games, XBL is great, but sometimes I think MS made a faulty product on purpose so that when my Xbox is off getting repaired in Mosquite, Texas (yes this is the place I sent my RRoDbox), I get so bored all I want to do is buy a new game when it gets back...ugh. All three have there qualities. Having all three makes my life sweet. Can't wait to play God of War 3, Mass Effect 2, and the new Metroid simultaneously (God why couldn't you give me 6 hands??)
Same reason Ronaldinho is on the FIFA 09 cover. He sucks but he even people who aren't really into soccer know who he is. Just the name goes a long way.
The Bioware games (The Old Republic and Mass Effect 2) looked awesome. The new Metroid game excites me as well. But I mean anyone who saw God of War 3...just wow. My pick for game of show. I'm buying a PS3 for this game (as well as UC2...)
