Its not going to be a new 360.......they just refurbish your old console.

I think in some cases they'll replace it, but only there's no other fix. The majority of times they just slap a huge heat sink on it and send it back. Pretty disappointing, I want the 65nm chip and quiet fans... but why would they lose 350 dollars on a console when they could lose 100 on a heatsink and maintinence.

I treated mine well for nearly two years, plugged directly into a wall outlet, nothing around it, sat on a cooling stand that uses it's own power source, not sapping power from the 360,... it red ringed this morning. 3 days before its second birthday. That's gotta be like 75 in human years though. Guess it just had enough. Seems like it did better than average.

Hey, I just thought of something. Why don't they have an age filter? You can filter by player type (pro, recreational, family, or underground) but you can't filter by age. I might actually play my multiplayer games if I could filter out the kids. No offense to the kids, except the ones that deserve it. As it is, it's just annoying unless you find that rare group of mature gamers.

If you haven't played half life 2 before, or if you have and like the game, get the orange box. It's an incredible deal, the games rule, and Portal is better than sliced bread. Of course, the other options are great too. Just get them all!

It's tough keeping bioshock in mind, but it really kicked off the string of amazing games. I think it's got a good shot, but being that it's nearly the same thing as SS2, it might get some points deducted in creativity.

Funny, I've never heard of this golden rule before... I've had quite a few 8+ hour sessions, and my xbox is still fine. Got it jan 06, and never bricked on me. What I'd be more concerned about is the bumpiness during the ride. Unless you've got some seriously floaty suspension, I'd worry about getting your disks eaten when the ride gets rough.

You read my mind! I was just about to make a thread on this. I can't find a single answer. When the hell is the thing coming out?!

A rumor is that they're adding DivX video support, and probably MSN messenger support. I want to know if they're new zune-related features, cause the new zunes are coming out tomorrow. Does anyone know anything?!
