It's arrived!!!

After 3 weeks Demon's Souls has finally arrived! All the way from Hong Kong. I hope it's bloody worth it.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

This is looking sweet actually. Just watched the below gameplay vid and it's definitely my kinda game. Like a cross between Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid but with a load of cool super hero stuff mixed in. :)

The combat is looking good too. Some nice animation and some impressive hit detection.

Just hope the story is good and the gameplay is varied. Then it could turn out to be a corker.

New Killzone maps!

Tried the new Killzone 2 maps today. Simply awesome!

The Wasteland Bullet is an incredible map. I've never played a map in a FPS where you're so aware of your surroundings ALL THE TIME. It's a real strain on the senses. Your constantly aware that you're travelling at high speed on this huge locamotive. The strong head wind affects your movement and even the trajectory of your grenade throws. The swirling sand and dust in the wind affects your vision.
I've jumped between those platforms dozens of times now, but every time it feels just as uneasy. The silent but deadly obstacles flying past like huge razor blades.

Like My Brute, but better

Me and a mate of mine have been working on a browser based RPG/social networking game, over the last few weeks. We got the idea from the recently popular MyBrute.com but decided to make our own version. It works in a very similar way but has lots of cool stuff added that we thought was lacking from My Brute. There will be a certain amount of control when leveling as you'll be able to allocate stat points and choose which weapons/armour to use before going into a fight. We've got loads of other ideas but will reveal more later down the line.

Don't really have anything to show right now but we have working examples and the main structure is in place. Most of the complicated coding behind the scenes has been done but there's still a lot of work to do on the artwork and animation.

We have a main theme but won't reveal it right now. It's a bit of an inside joke but should be amusing.

More updates as I have them.
