Stone Free

So I read a whole bunch of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure last night. I figure I may as well talk about it now.

I don't feel like going into detail, but there's one thing on my mind- superpowers.

So, JoJo is pretty much about superheroes. Good guys have superpowers, bad guys have superpowers and try to stop them, they fight using their superpowers.

One complaint you'll hear about superheroes- some of them have powers that are too similar. Between the different franchises, you'd be hard-pressed to find a character with a power unlike any other. But that's not a problem. So what if two different comic book companies have characters with ice superpowers? It's not like ice is an original concept.

It sort of annoys me when characters within a franchise have similar powers, though. Like in Marvel, there's The Thing, Colossus, Juggernaut and Hulk, and they all pretty much do the exact same thing- they're big, strong and hard to kill. JoJo also does this.

Part 3- The Emperor; A gun with the ability to change the trajectory of its bullets
Part 5- Sex Pistols; 6 small people who ride on the bullets shot out of a gun, kicking them to change their trajectory
Part 6- Manhattan Transfer; A small satellite with the ability to change the trajectory of bullets

THEY ALL DO THE SAME THING.

...

This didn't turn out as good as I would've liked.

Anyway, I'm also going to try Yume Nikki tonight. It's some Japanese horror game that people seem to like.

I don't think I scare easy. The few horror games I've played didn't do much for me. We'll see how I feel after Yume Nikki.

Also, I thought this scene was funny for some reason.

I dunno, maybe because of how relaxed White Snake looks.

OKAY, so I played Yume Nikki for about an hour.

Was it scary? I don't know. I don't think so. I just wandered around for a while and learned how to make myself a witch and how to make myself fat. Neither seem to have any use.
