I thought FEAR was a scary game. The Silent Hill series also gave me chills throughout the entire game. This list is lacking some important, terrifying games.
Not really sure what to say in light of this news. Sony is old enough that they should know what they are doing. In reality only time will tell. But I believe they spent way to much money on a cell processor that will not be utilized to its full capability. Considering we are just entering a software era where dual is just starting to be inducted into gaming. So what year exactly will we be programming for all cores of the cell processor? Thats a question no software industry can answer. Maybe once companies utilize the triple core processor in the 360 and the Quad core processor intel has released we can make predictions. I am sure the PS3 will last for years, but so will its competition. Nothing is going to go away, Microsoft is not going to stop making systems especially when they are successful at doing so. Nintendo has been around too long to stop making systems. Time will tell what becomes of the PS3 and, for that matter, every system. But Sony has to grind this one out with the public to have any chance of selling equal to or more than the number of PS2's. My last statement deals with exclusive games. They are dissapearing, period. Sony has had the oppertunity to have several exclusives that hit big on PS/PS2. But quite frankly, why would companies settle with giving exclusives to one system, when they can put them out for all three and make more money? They wouldn't, and that is why we are seeing the release of games like GTA on Xbox360 that were once Sony exclusives. Sony needs to rely on its history to override the public in this situation if it has a chance to compete in the future.
