.... I approached the door slowly. Peaking in, seeing nothing, all was calm. I stepped through. All of a sudden, I heard something coming from down the hallway. A loud noise erupted from behind the door, a yell, and a club came down on my head. Knocking me to the ground, my head gashed open. It was my father, club raised over his head, looking at me in my moment of weakness. He looked as if he had gone feral. He brought the club down upon me, hitting me like the fist of an angry god. I kicked at him as his blows piled up into double digits. I could hear my ribs snapping. One kick had flown and managed to knock his blunt object astray, as it was flying towards me.

With his club gone, he began to stomp on me. He was still in good shape for his age, and always was a powerful man. I managed to roll out of the way and spring to my feet. Feeling the pain jolt through my body, I had to get away without hurting him. But what if there was no way I couldn't get away without hurting him. I looked him in the face as he came running at me, and connected a my fist with his nose, hearing the bone and cartilage crunch together. Blood frew from his nose and ran down his face in profuse amounts. It didn't seem to faze him. I had to kill him. Kill my own father, who I had so many good times with. It had to be done. I grappled onto him and brought him to the ground hard. There was no easy way to do this. As I latched my hands around his throat, I noticed someone coming down the hallway. It was my mother.
