The most memorable part of that opening for me was when the statue just gets obliterated. For that matter though, I'd have to say that X has the most brilliant cut scenes of any of the ff series, not only for their graphics, but for their content. You know you were blown away when Sin got pissed off and blasted those valleys into the world.
