Hey fellow gamers!

Just curious if there are others out there who would like to see the dungeon crawler/hack & slash game, Diablo ported over to the PSP? I for one don't see any real reason why it could not be a great port since the controls have always been simple. Given that, I doubt the single thumb nub stick would yield too many problems. Other titles I would love to see are more RTS type games like Baldur's Gate, Sins of a Solar Empire, etc. I realize the scope of such a huge game like SSE would pose some issues but perhaps scaled down a little to accommodate the PSP.

Cya!

I just bought the witcher I'm forcing myself to finish it before I buy more games. :P

FlaminDeath

I hear ya FD...I've been guilty of that myself recently. Too many great games not enough time to finish them all.

BTW: I love the animated banner of Jason Borne kicking that kid's butt for the Nintendo..LOL!

I have to say, for the "genre" of game it is, it does quite well. For me though, I cannot get into it. The most important thing for me is having to "Pay to Play"... I hate that...call me cheap but you know what? I can host and play on hosted free servers 24/7 if I want, playing games I love and it will only cost me...sleep and the occasional nagging from my wife.

I guess, I honestly wouldn't mind paying though, if WoW wasn't full of people using it as some sort of nerdy, fantasy mid-evil themed chat room. I mean, after getting my "30 Days free" access, the only thing I remember after I spent almost 20 minutes creating a character was, going into a town where I saw at least 100 people standing around a freakin fountain chatting while the spastic antics of bored players ran around doing pelvic thrusts and poor imitations of Micheal Jackson.

All I have to say is....yawn...Give me a fast paced FPS any day over that boredom. I'm not going to pay to play a mid-evil version of the SIMs on crack....LOL!

Don't hate mail me...just my opinion. I am sure there are a couple people out there with a social life who enjoy it very much... :P

Hmmm, Good question. So far, FPSs have not made a good transition to the PSP but I would have to say from an FPS stand point...

BF2 Series and FEAR. Perhaps if they could tweak the auto aim a bit or do something else creative with the PSP controls for aiming.

I love Metal Gear and Tomb Raider Anniversary on this thing but would like to see a remake of Diablo and Unreal Tournament and other games such as that.

Perhaps even some Adventure/Puzzle games like Myst would be cool too...Not sure if there are any out there like that.

I am waiting to get out of the office and go pick up my copy but you guys are scaring me now...LOL!

Like you, I can't wait to get my hands on this game. Well, someone earlier mentioned this is not a PC or PS3 game so you're not going to get the full eye candy out of it. I have to disagree with that a little... The reason, I have played other games designed for PC that have also been released for the 360, such as FEAR and I have to say it is damn close and I am a graphics junkie. So, if the only thing you can compare it to is H2, than I suppose I can deal with the slight, if not obvious, differences and short comings regarding graphics during on-line play. H2 was a great game so....I am sure I will still enjoy H3.

no u are just ignorint. Why do people even buy new systems if not for the graphics. And u mean to tell me they work for 3 years on just a 5 hour story? And some multiplayer maps?icey6ch9

LMFAO ROTF!!!

icey6ch9, if you're going to accuse someone of being, "ignorant" learn how to spell it first....At least, use spell checker dude! Hope you can frag better than you spell. Perhaps you should spend more time with your studies than with your Xbox... Hehe!

Just petting your fur the wrong way man, don't hate mail me, I just couldn't contain myself, had to say something... :)

Hey fellow gamers!

Is it me, or has the gaming industry grown incredibly fast within the past 2 years? I mean, my head is spinning thinking of all the great games that have been released since mid-2006 and with the up-coming release of games like Crysis, Halo 3, FarCry 2, UT3, Hell-Gate London, etc. it seems there is no stopping this run away train and I am hangin' on for the ride!

Sure, there were a lot of great games released prior to 2006 but not long ago, games worthy of the coveted ranks of 8.5 and above, came every so often but now? It seems, release after release makes it to the "A" list of awesome games. Are these guys finally getting it? Thank God we are starting to see games with as much story, excitement and heart that also plays smoothly and are as graphically stunning to look at! New ways of looking at game play like Prey (Under-rated FPS by the way) new uses for physics like in FEAR and Half Life 2, not to mention the stunning visuals and environments of ground breaking games, back in the day like Far Cry.

Tomorrow, I pick up my copy of Halo 3 and I cannot wait for games like HL2OB, Painkiller OD, HG London, COD4, Army of Two, Crysis, and UT3 (2007). Guess I better stock the fridge and febreeze my chair because I am in it for the long haul!

Cheers to all who work so hard to bring us, the games of tomorrow, today!

ive seen the demo ..ive seen my friend play alot of the other games and I just dont see the hype to this game ..I mean first of all its not even scary ,,we played it in the dark and there would be some disturbing images but nothing scary at all, Like at least resident evil makes you jump from surprise,,these games to me are so dul and the characters have NO personality what so ever..like you would think the main character would show a little more emotion when he see's some of that SH*T but no

Thats just my view I find these games to be very dull , the story is dull, and the characters are boring...the only good about this game is nothing!!

But thats just how I feel .....now go ahead and eat me alive!!

DrummerShane12

Hey DS12, Not going to eat you alive. I happen to agree with you for the most part. However, the first Silent Hill was "Fun," in a "dicovering the unknown" kind of way, like reading a book and playing out the character. Not enough for me to become one of the cultish followers of the series though. It has it's market and seems to be doing well with the fans of the SH franchise. So, let'em have their vise. I'll stick with my FPSs...Enjoy guys! The movie sucked eggs too...LOL!

Modern Flight SIMs in general usually are the way to benchmark your PC. I think games like Stalker where the air moves around dust and debris are also good games to stress test too as well as games with a lot of water effects.

Good luck with the AMD! I just got an XPS 710 H2C which I love and can run and max out every setting for just about everything out to date! Have fun bro!

The demo was pretty creepy in some parts. I can't wait to see how scary the full game will be! I actually thought it was pretty scary to be swimming around in the middle of an ocean at night!

Hobbies230

Well, I've done a night dive on a sunken Navycargo ship off of the coast of Norfolk, VA. At the time, the "surge" - undercurrent, was very strong and viz was only about 30 feet so the hammerheads we saw circling the wreck were scarier than the fact that it was just dark. LOL! They kept coming in and out of the reach of our lights, which was about 10 to 20 feet so, a little too close for comfort, but we nailed the mission and returned with all our limbs in tact.

So, to back up your statement...yes it can be a bit scary swimming in the ocean at night but thats when I get my best work done. :-)
