Sony's biggest mistake in my opinion: VERY late launch date, (which had caused me to get a 360 first), and how it gave most of its exclusive games to XBOX. That was a BIG mistake for sony.

Well, for starters, Gears of War was DEFINATELY ovverated. When I actually tried it out, it turned out that GOW was just a pretty face. Halo 3 was a little overrated also.

Ratchet and Clank:TOD and Uncharted (both bought at the same time)

Both were good games, but fell a bit under my expecations. What ruined what would be a almost flawless game was the GOW combat gameplay.

Used to buy them retail, tried digital download (the worst!), and totally reverted back to retail. Next time I think about digital downloads....I may consider Steam. I could understand if you live in the bare middle of Siberia, but if you live near a retailer, wouldnt it be a bit more worth it do buy the CD/DVD?
