Early 2013 Top Ten Most anticipated Games

I don't buy as many games as I use to now that I have a family but I still watch and anticipate games, and even buy a few here and there.  This is my first update of anticipated games in almost 5 years, it was about time.  Since I only have a Wii U and an outdated Computer, (and a DS) the games will mostly be from Wii U.

 10.  The Legend of Zelda Wii U (WiiU - Nintendo) - This is my favorite series, so as long as I know it is coming it will be on this list.  Since it is a far ways off with nothing real announced about it, other than the developer's desire to take a lot more from the first zelda game, it is last on the list.

 9. Super Mario Wii U (WiiU - Nintendo) - I had a great time with Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii before I sold my Wii.  The same studio is working on this next 3D mario game so I am looking foward to it.  Allthough Zelda is my favorite series, this edges out my anticipation of the next original Zelda game on the Wii U because Mario is supposed to be playable at E3.  We will find out a lot about a game not too far on the horizon.

 8. The Wonderful 101 (WiiU - Platinum Games/Nintendo) - Although I've watched gameplay video on this one, I don't know what to expect as far as whether I will actually enjoy it or not.  It looks interesting, and I look foward to the reviews to see if I want it.  It'll be out this year.

 7. Yoshi's Land (WiiU - Nintendo) - Yoshi games don't generally get me excited, but they are often pretty good.  I think this game will probably not rile up the fan base, but give us an enjoyable game.

 6. Oliver & Spike: Dimension Jumpers (WiiU/PC - Rock Pocket Games) - This game isn't listed for the Wii U on Gamespot yet, but Wii U is listed as a target platform on the game's website.  Although there is a lot of platform gameplay involve, the videos also give it a Zelda-esque look, and the gameplay mechanic of jumping between dimensions to further progress looks like a lot of fun.  It's different, and maybe right up my alley.

 5. Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem (WiiU - Atlus/Nintendo) - From what I hear Shin Megami Tensei is a very good series.  Fire Emblem has a good track record too.  I haven't played either but maybe trying them out all at once on the Wii U could be fun.  Plus I am a fan of RPGs.

 4. Rayman Legends (WiiU - Ubisoft) - This was the first game for Wii U that I demoed at the local Gamestop.  it was fun, and it's coming out this month.

 3. Wii Fit U (WiiU - Nintendo) - Yeah, I know that it may be a little lame to have a fitness game as my number 3 game, but this will be one I can enjoy with my wife, and other than the far off Zelda game, the one I am most likely to pick up.

 2. Pikmin 3 (WiiU - Nintendo) - I missed out on the Pikmin games for gamecube, maybe I thought they were too kiddy.  Anyway, This could be my first if I ever get it and it looks pretty good.

 1. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD (WiiU - Nintendo) - This epic game is one of my favorites of all time.  Updated for a next gen system it should be a great play through.  Too bad the top spot is a remake, but it is a great one.
