Post E3 2013 Top Ten Most Anticipated Games

Here are my top ten anticipated games after E3, I only own a Wii U and and outdated PC which I will be hoping to upgrade in the next year, so the games I am looking at focus aroung that.

10. Trials of Ascension (PC) - Forged Chaos - This is a MMORPG in pre-alpha that I have been following for a few years.  The developers, Forged Chaos (previously Shadowpool Studios), were unable to find investors back in the mid 2000s, but have returned to drum up interest for a future kickstarter.  This game will have perma-death after 100 lives, a dynamic world, and many great features you can check out at http://www.trialsofascension.com

 9. The Legend of Zelda Wii U (WiiU) - Nintendo - Zelda is my favorite series, I enjoy all the games I've played including a recent purchase and playthrough of Skyward Sword since I got my Wii U.  Looking forward to this game, but there is no info about it yet.

 8. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (WiiU) - Nintend/Retro - Donkey Kong Country for the SNES is one of my favorite games for that console.  In my heyday I could beat the game without losing a life.  I haven't played DKC Returns yet and I am not sure how I will like it in polygon form but Retro is a good studio and it should be good.

 7. Watch Dogs (WiiU) - Ubisoft - This game looks really cool.  You can explore Chicago and hack any tech you want with your smart phone.  The Wii U needs an open world game of this caliber and I hope it does well.

 6. X (WiiU) - Monolithsoft - This game looks fun.  The studio has experience with Xenoblade on the Wii, and X will probably be my style of game.

 5. Pikmin 3 (WiiU) - Nintendo - We've been waiting for this game.  It got knocked down on my list because nintendo unveiled footage on some heavyweight franchises, but Pikmin 3 has the attention of Shigeru Miyamoto and should be great.  Could be my first Pikmin

 4. Super Smash Bros. Wii U (WiiU) - Nintendo - Okay, Mega Man is cool and all, though they take a hit imo if Sonic doesn't return, but honestly I am more interested in the Villager from Animal Crossing and the Wii Fit Trainer.  I know it sounds like a joke, but I love it when Nintendo looks into their vast catalog of games and includes obscure characters like this.  I hope they add more.  I am pretty sure I saw Balloon Fighter in the trailer, so hopefully he's playable.

 3. Super Mario 3D World (WiiU) - Nintendo - This game looks great.  The Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 team are back and there isn't a lot to say other than they make great 3D Mario games.  I loved the first Galaxy and haven't yet played the second.  I thought this would be higher on my list, but then...

 2. Mario Kart 8 (WiiU) - Nintendo - I'll admit I sold my Wii before I finished Mario Kart Wii, and I didn't love the motion controls, but if you can fall in love with the game on first sight, that was my trailer experience for Mario Kart 8.  I didn't know if I could stand anything but the Kart racing but with how Mario Kart looks, graphically and the way it seems to play, I want it I want it I want it.

1. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (WiiU) - Nintendo - Wind Waker holds the top spot on my list despite the reveal of some great looking Nintendo games.  Wind Waker is one of my favorite video games, and new footage with polished graphics and a renewed feel for a great game that I have been wanting to get my hand on again puts it at my top spot.
