Yeah I'm not a fan of the same icemen you're talking about. They catch me off guard even when I know they are there.

inFamous is my favorite game this generation, but I haven't played Just Cause 2, so I can't truly comment on that part of it.

[QUOTE="Sportsnut101"]The story isn't as strong as you would hope for in a FF game, but it's still a fun game to play nonetheless with gorgeous graphics. But since you're a newcomer to the series, you probably won't be disappointed in the story area. It is a time investment though, as it takes over 40 hours to play through, most likely more. Are you a RPG fan in general?Snakemaster9

Eh the last RPG game I played was... The World Ends With You, which was an Action RPG? I think. Plus, All i had was a Wii, so all i got was Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc. I didn't pay attention to hardly any other games. So, Im a fan, but I hardly play em. I will probably get it though, because I have nothing else to play cause I beat UC2, and the multiplayer really doesn't interest me.

Well if you're an action RPG fan, I would suggest going with the Bioshock series or Fallout 3. They are both FPS, but they also have the RPG element to them that can suck you in. Neither of the games are terribly long, though Fallout 3 has more stuff to do if you desire. Plus since they all have been out for awhile, they will be fairly cheap.

I have this same problem with my R2 button since so many games use it extensively. But its not loud enough to affect my enjoyment.

Well NBA 2K11 is what I last played, and Michael Jordon would **** all over me in a game of basketball. But I think I could take him in a fight, I'm scrappy.

Funny, I was talking about this very subject the other day... my game of choice... Final Fantasy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not just one of these "FF7 is the best FF ever, no matter what comes along", I really enjoyed pretty much 7 through X-2 and 12, so when they finally announced 13 on PS3, I had to have it. Graphically, I love it, I can't really fault it aesthetically. Problem for me, is that, as other people have said, developers seem to be trying to cater to the widest area possible, which makes sense from a business viewpoint, but to do that, they seem to be dumbing down. FFXIII was a prime example of that for me... getting yourself killed in any other FF I've played results in going back to your last save point. This one, you go back to the start of the fight. I don't feel there was any need to make it -that- easy, tbh. I remember pouring weeks and months into the latest FF release back in the day, making it really good value for money, but this one was done inside a month :| platinum and all. So now there's no incentive to go back to it.

I wish there'd been a difficulty option in FF, so that we can choose how tough we wanted to make things, but no such luck. Maybe next time the developers will do a better job on not making the game just feel like a giant tutorial :| Here's hoping for FFXIII Vs.

I don't see that part as being absolutely terrible though. I remember nothing pissed me off more when I would be playing FFX and the Great Malbaro would ambush you in the Omega Ruins, which would pretty much kill you every time unless you had a guy who had Initiative or a bunch of status immunities. But I do know what you mean, FFXIII seemed a lot easier than previous FFs, which at times for me is ok because I don't have the time to full immerse myself into games anymore, but it does disappoint me as well when I can blow through a game in 10 hours.
