I'm curious, why was I denied from commenting on a news item?

Is it because I'm a "new-bie?"

 Do I have to "show" myself as a gamer before commenting on said items?

 If so, the last games I owned & played(got a lot of enjoyment from too), was the "Strike" series, Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, & Urban Strike. That was a few years ago.

Yeah, in some folks' eyes, I'm an ol'  man... well,  whoop.
