Hayao Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle has been nominated for an Oscar award for Best Animated Feature. His film shall(I like that word) be competing against Tim Burton's Corspe Bride and Nick Park & Steve Box's Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
It's pretty obvious as to which film I will be supporting, although I believe it will be a tough fight between Howl's Moving Castle and Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
Hayao Miyazaki has already won one Oscar for his film Spirited Away, and had the Oscar introduced that category in 1986 instead of 2002, he would have won a lot more IMO. It is also noted that this year's nominations marks the first time that all the animated films were not produced primarily by computer-generated imagery.
