If anyone ever came close to being a pop idol to me, it would be Michael Jackson. I was a huge fan of his during the 80s, especially around the time that his Thriller album came out in 82. Back then, I was just a middle school kid and never quite connected with the other kids because we did not share the same interest in music. But when Michael Jackson hit the charts with Beat It, things all changed. Thanks Michael.
