The most recent anime "Neo Angelique Abyss" from KOEI was broadcast in Japan. On the same week, the same show was telecast in Singapore with English subtitles. Previously, another anime called D. Gray-man had it's second season broadcast on Singapore's local channel on the same week as Japan. It is obvious that all this is in an effort to rid themselves of the need for fansubs which the anime distribution companies blame for their own poor sales. However, having already watched the pilots of these shows, I'm rather disappointed with their choice to use these shows for their attempt. IMO, this animes aren't very good, and sadly, I think their attempt will fail. The End of the Anime Fansubs?
