This is not a flame war, so if you want wank do it elsewhere. I love my 360, it's probably the best console I've ever owned, but in 6 months, it's broken three times. In the last 2 months I've had it for about 2 weeks in between shipping back and forth, so clearly something is going wrong. I've poured over the forums and advice for 360 owners with similar problems, but I really haven't found anything that helps me. - I've got my console in an open area laying on its bottom (relative bottom anyway) - It's plugged into a surge protector with 3 other devices (computer, router, tv, this shouldn't be a problem, surge protector is solid) - Typically when it breaks I'm watching movies. I know that the three red rings are more common during movies than gaming, but I don't know why exactly, and I haven't seen anything that proves a hardware correlation. - When the three red rings go off it's when I turn the console on, not during a session - I use a wireless adapter, but I don't think that matters The most recent break occured yesterday, after I had already gotten my 360 back three days prior from whatever hardware fix was performed per Microsoft's statement about their repair service, so whatever they did isn't helping me specifically. Is there something I'm missing or should/shouldn't be doing, because I'm really getting tired of this.
