Wow, this article is a bit on the extreme side, isn't? It was just credit card information. If you're worried about fraudulent charges, just contact your bank and they will send you a new card. Simple as that. Its not like they stole your social security numbers. And how could you steal someone's identity by knowing they're credit card numbers? I'm not saying what Sony did was was right (w/ not telling us about being hacked earlier) but people are blowing this way out of proportion.
