@virusvaccine21: wow didn't know they outsourced reviews, I felt like some past reviews I read felt more like movie reviews.

I don't think some of these reviewers know how to review games

These GS reviews are getting a little out of hand with their critiques, they even contradict themselves in the review.

"At times, it almost feels as if art direction is trying a little bit too hard to draw attention to itself. And Ghost of Tsushima certainly makes a concerted effort to try and absorb you into its radiant world even further with its deliberate lack of navigational information. There's no option for an on-screen minimap or a compass to see which way you're going, and objective markers are barely there. Instead, the game features an in-world device called Guiding Wind"

"It's a great system. Without anything to draw your eyes away from your character and the world, the Guiding Wind pushes you to pay more attention to your surroundings, to let you more quickly internalise key landmarks that help you to get your bearings more easily later on, or just to feast your eyes"

I'm getting tired of all the snarky, backhanded remarks in GS reviews, Is the nav system good? Or is it a try hard? Make up your mind. Plus the bamboo tree thing as a negative is just stupid.

Edit*

Wow just read the IGN review, and the differences go beyond just reviewer opinion, the IGN review was more in depth, written better, and went over more aspects of the game.

GS needs better writers.......it's starting to show how bad they are compared to their piers

I'm a collector, I will always go for the physical release first, Love having them on my shelf and love being able to take out a game and start playing.

I have bought more digital games this year, The Corona Virus definitely had an effect on that, plus I've been on a tighter budget this year (Just bought a house) so the digital sales have been appealing.

I'll keep buying physical as long as they make the games, even if next gen is the last gen for it, I'll switch to digital once forced to.

But I need more than 1TB of space, It's already to the point where I have to delete games and re-install. That's really bothersome to me. I think 2TB needs to be the minimum and the console needs to support internal HDD's of larger sizes

Yakuza 0 is the better than the best GTA game, I think this Gen Yakuza > GTA

Back in previous gens, I think you could make the Argument GTA was better, not so much now

Ghost of Tsushima for me, but I also want Mario

Typically when two new games come out on the same day or around the same time I'll pick one up later when it drops in price......but Paper Mario is a nintendo game....so it will never happen.

Maybe I should buy Mario first then......

For me Personally the best game this gen is Yakuza 0 (which is funny because it's a cross gen game)

HOWEVER, I think a lot of people would agree that BOTW is the best this Gen.

I think a lot of other people would Add RDR2, Bloodborne, GOW, and Mario Odyssey

@judaspete: I agree as well. We need to see more AA games from Big Developers.

Simpler games with great gameplay, not every game has to be a big AAA release with a huge budget

I blame the media - especially mainstream media. They’ve whipped up millions into a frenzy just because their preferred party isn’t in the White House. What’s the point of a democracy if your team won every time? You’re supposed to suck it up and hope for the best in your leader. That’s the way it’s always been pre George Bush Jr. Jeff Zucker (CNN boss) has had a personal vendetta against Trump since The Apprentice days and decides to use his network as a hit squad. Other media follow suit because ratings.

There is nothing wrong with loving America. It’s the greatest country on earth.

You just described Fox News does every time there's a democrat in the White House.

Also, America is NOT the greatest country on earth, I can't explain how toxic that mentality is, we should be able to at and admit our faults and be better, to claim we are the greatest or perfect is not the way to be
