Giant Bomb

Now that Giant Bomb has officially started, I'm going to be there from now on. I may check here periodically for reviews and such, but Giant Bomb seems to be a much more interesting site.

Huh, cool

I've been on GameSpot for a year now. I joined last year to watch the E3 coverage because someone on a forum I went to works here and was bragging about how great the coverage was. I enjoyed the coverage and I've been around ever since.

E3 - Impressions

Well, E3 is going great so far. I watched all three press conferences and so far I've been watching all of the live stage shows. It's really awesome this year; so many great games to look forward to. Final Fantasy XIII on the 360 especially surprised me. Most of Microsoft's "big" announcements seem to be related to XBLA, such as Portal: Still Alive, Geometry Wars 2, and Galaga Legions, but nevertheless I'm excited. Nintendo dissapointed me with a lackluster showing this year; the only things that really excite me are Animal Crossing: City Folk and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Wii Sports: Resort and Wii Music appear as though they could be decent, but they're definitely not at the top of my list. In my opinion Sony had the best showing despite not many big announcements. The thing that made it the best was the fact that it wasn't boring like Nintendo or Microsoft's press conferences. I really enjoyed the LittleBigPlanet presentation.

I'm looking forward to seeing more news today and tomorrow.

Best news of the year

http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/02/chrono-trigger-ds-confirmed-for-north-america-this-holiday/

I'm shaking with excitment. Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of all time.

I've been playing SNES games recently

I beat Earthbound and Chrono Trigger a few months back and now I'm working on Super Metroid. I'm almost done with it, so what should I play next? I'm thinking Secret of Mana or Final Fantasy III.

My dad bought a game

Wow, I'm astounded. My dad doesn't normally buy games (unless I ask for them). He is a very huge fan of the Red Alert series, so he bought Command & Conquer: The First Decade. Thankfully, my computer can run it, so I think I'll be playing that for a while. Which games in the compilation do you recommend?

Metal Gear Solid 4

Wow, I'm mildly surprised that it got a 10/10 from GameSpot. I honestly expected them to nitpick about something and bring it down to a 9.5. But I'm glad it got a 10. Looks like 2008 is going to beat down 2007; easily.
