I'm torn between Trenched and Outland... I'm kind of leaning toward Trenched, but $15 is boo! :P I've played both demos and enjoyed them both... Thoughts on the games?

$220-$250 for GTX 460 1GB

The 768MB models trade blows with the 5830 until put under extreme duress. The 1GB model smokes the 5830. Palit is offering a model with a core @ 800Mhz, which is a significant jump from the reference 675. 900Mhz is not out of the question by any means for ambitious OC'ers.

The 1GB 460 has a 160w TDP, but comes with 2 PCIE connectors. In theory it could handle 75w + 75w+ 75w (PCI Express + 2 x External Power) = 225w, so there should be plenty of room to OC these bad boys.

I have a GTX 460 ordered, should be here Wednesday. I'll post my results :D

Ordered the 1GB GTX 460 OC from Gigabyte. Hoping to push it to 800-900Mhz core.

Newegg doesn't take preorders on graphics cards. The listing simply partially leaked ahead of the launch.

If the 1GB model falls in the sub-$250 range I'm in. Non-reference MSI and Palit models are listed. If they have voltage control... drool...

Asus only offers 5850s with 725/1000 and 765/1125 clocks (reference and directCU).

It's possible that you've got a refurb. Post a GPU-Z screenshot, I won't believe that this card exists until you post it.

You posted this on OCN too. It's most likely USER error, and Powercolor would be happy to fix it for you as it's still under warranty if there is a legitimate issue.Cards from both nVidia and ATI and ALL brands have issues from time to time, it's the nature of the industry.

I have used 4 Powercolor HD5 series cards with zero issues, and I have used 10 HD5 series cards overall with ZERO issues as well. If you want a GTX 470 that's great, it's a fine card, but the internet doesn't need your PEBKAC.
