@ Yossi420 you got it dead on! "Yes, the ps3 does have better hardware capability than the 360. However, the 360 remains markedly easier to develop for. Because of this, most developers of multiplats make the game initially on the 360 then essentially port it to the ps3. This is why most multiplats look pretty much the same on both systems, with the 360 often getting a slight edge despite its inferior hardware capability compared to the ps3. This is also why ps3 exclusives have the best graphics of any current console titles; they are developed exclusively for the ps3 and thus take full advantage of the system's hardware capabilities"
Ok a little confused here.... will Windows 7 be a free upgrade for all Vista owners? If it's not it damn well should be because I am still upset I paid for Vista which is essentially an unfinished OS while Windows 7 is what Vista should of been, I hope this is a free upgrade!
I don't have a gaming rig by any means my specs are as follows..... **AMD Athlon 64 FX55 MSI RS480M2-IL Motherboard 4GB DDR Ram 1000gig HD (500gig + 500gig) Windows Vista Home Premium ATI Radeon HD3650 1GIG PCIe Video Card 20" Acer LCD with 3ms RT** but I can & have played some cross platforms games on my PC and yes they do look slightly better on my PC but to me it's not all about graphics it's more about comfort, ease of setup/play & fun...... I just much prefer gaming with my buds in front of the home theater in comfort! But to each their own, I am in no way dissing PC gamers just gaming to me means consoles.
Oh and Gamespot must have purposely took dark screenshots for the 360 & PS3 because I know for a fact those games never look like that! Can we say BIAS!? Again games are meant to be played in the family room with the big screen tv, surround sound with all your buddies over not in your bedroom all by yourself sitting at your desk. Yes the graphics are better on the PC but only slightly better and not worth giving up gaming in the living room with friends!
I could care less if the games look better on the PC... games are meant to be played on consoles while PC's are for everything else. Even with a decent video card in my comp I just can't seem to get into gaming on the PC I would much rather play on my comfy couch in front of the big screen TV with the surround sound cranked than sit at my desk to play games any day!
They should have a 5 day E3 back under one roof and to settle everyones concerns have the first 3 days for game industry folks & press only then on the last 2 days open to the general public. This would satisfy everyone while still address the original concerns of industry people not getting proper access to test games & equipment and talk with other industry people.
