Now if you want to talk about modern stuff that sucks. Cars and music. Now yes there are some good cars and good music, but as a whole, popular music this decade was by far the WORST and most AWFUL collection of "songs" we've ever seen. Ringtone rap, crap like Fallout Boy etc. A far cry from the days when Zeppelin and Floyd ruled the airwaves or the Beatles/Eagles , Motown, funk. Hell, even disco is better than the ringtone rap crap. Gimme the Bee Gees all day every day no contest. And because all they care about in today's cars is aerodynamics, they all look painfully the same and ugly. Nowhere near as good as the badass, cigarette box cars of the old days. Like the PT Cruiser, my god. Honda Pilot...even today's "good looking" cars are just acceptable and nice, not fresh like cars of the 60's/70's. Even the box cars of the 80's/early 90's look better than the crap of today such as the new Camry. The Japanese especially have made laughable looking cars (Prius anyone?)

It's not that TV today sucks. It's that sitcoms today SUCK. In the post-Seinfeld era we are left with unberable, cliche, predictable sitcoms with half ass, non developed characters. No contest that sitcoms today SUCK compared to stuff like All in the Family. Cosby Show, Seinfeld, Frasie, Happy Days. But dramas have improved. So I'd say there's good TV, just like the one guy said, with alot of content, comes alot of crap. Just ignore it. Sadly, America has settled for mediocre reality TV instead of well developed shows with complex characters but hope that changes in the 2010's. I do miss the days when you had shwows so big that the next morning you could ask any random person and they'd say yeah I watched last night. The last show to end where you could do that was ER which had massive ratings in the 90s. Today, no shwos command massive audiences like the 20th century except Idol but reality TV is garbage so that's embarrassing more than anything. So in conclusion, TV options today = GOOD Sitcoms today = GARBAGE.

Seinfeld, is this a joke? Friends was a decent show but it relied on slapstick and cute humor. Seinfeld was creative and groundbreaking. Larry David is a comedic genius. The characters are great, the minor characters are better than the regulars in Friends (Newman, Banya, Lloyd Braun, Jackie Chiles, Uncle Leo, Morty Seinfeld etc.). It isn't a competition. There's a reason Seinfeld was top two in Nielson ratings throughout its last 5 seasons. There's a reason it is ahead of Friends in EVERY SINGLE "Top Sitcoms" list. It is a classic. It is the defining show of the 1990's. It's catch phrases are in pop culture (yada yada, serenity now, not that there's anything wrong with that, master of your domain). The Finale of Seinfeld was watched by 77 million, Friends 52 million. Everyone knows the Soup Nazi and Bubble Boy, the Contest who knows "The One Where anything".

I will give credit to Friends for lasting 10 seasons and appealing to a large group of people but there is a reason that from 1994-1998 when they co-aired on NBC, Seinfeld's ratings consistently dwarfed Friends.

It is NO contest. (Haha, The Contest). Seinfeld is a better show than Friends.

Any guy that prefers Friends needs a masculinity check as far as I'm concerned.
