I am, for sure, I mean I even stopped myself from buying nother SIXAXIS no matter how tempting the offer. Anyways I'm hoping to get it pretty soon. But is there another rumble enabled controller coming out with 'next gen' rumble?

I live in a PAL region, with a PAL PS3, and I got Spiderman 3 Imported from the US and it diplayed in colour so I don't think there should be any problems.

I think it is because Europe is located in a PAL Region and every country in PAL Regions pay more than NTSC Regions such as the US, Singapore and Japan as in Australia a PAL Region the launch price was a CRAZY$999 AUD but hey every PAL region has PS3's that cost more than in NTSC Regions. Even though PS3 games are region free, keep in mind that PS2 games are not therefore PS3's are built to play PS2 PAL Games.

HDMI is alot more convenient because it is one cable but component cables do display pretty much the same quality but its HDMI just offers that little more colour. The downside to component cables are that they do not display copyright dvd's at 1080p(I''ve heard). So for a long term investment HDMI is the way to go.

You should definitely get a ps3, I asked this exact question and I boughtand m not regretting it. It is probablythe better long term investment as at the moment blu-ray probably has the upper hand in THE MAIN MARKETS therefore I think you should get a ps3.
