Im thinking of getting the EVGA Classified Motherboard, but ive seen alot of people on EVGAs forums complaining of very high NB Temps on their boards. I just wanted to ask whether its worth getting this board over other ones, such as the Rampage II Extreme?

It's really just a matter of aspect ratio. Most movies use 16:9 (1920x1080) or wider, whereas a computer usually uses 16:10 (1920x1200). Gaming on 1920x1080 has no draw backs, watching movies on16:9 is always better. Usually 16:10 is a better work space than 16:9.

If you do a lot of working on your computer, say Photoshop, movie editing, music making etc... It helps to have the slightly taller screen for a more balanced workspace. For entertainment purposes such as gaming and movies 16:9 is adapted very well.

So it all really depends, would you like a slightly wider display, or a wide display that's a bit more balanced for general computing?Marfoo

Looks like ill probably get a 1920x1080 monitor then. Im mainly just going to be using the monitor for games and movies so the extra space for work does not bother me.

Sounds good, happy gaming.

Thanks.

Well im getting a new monitor soon, looking to get a 24 inch monitor at either 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 resolution. Can't really decide on which to get yet. I will be the using the monitor equally for both playing pc games and watching DVDs and Blu Ray movies. But i don't know which will be the best for what i want. Any suggestions?

I am going to buy a HAF 932 and I have read in reviews that fluff and dust can get in the mesh, so you may need dust filters. I have three cats, so I will probably need dust filters. What do I need to buy and how do I fit them ? Thanks.

BTW I live in the UK :P

Get the Coolermaster ATCS 840. Its more expensive but it has dust filters and excellent airflow.

you will be able to max every game and 4AA with either GX285 or 4890.

chris24l
What about the dreaded Cyrsis and Crysis Warhead? How will the GTX 285 perform on them with very high settings?

Link for the review. It looks like a great motherboard, but a few people are having trouble with their NB heat.
