Please help me, I am using a USB gamepad that is compatible with a PC and it is not responding. It used to work before, but now nothing is happening. All 4 of my USb slots are all OK and not-damaged, and so is the cable of the gamepad. I have a smartbox gamepad similar to a regular PS2 type. Can anyone help me? I have tried reinstalling the USB gamepad driver over and over again. What shall I do other than buy a new one.

I have SP2, and it's fully updated. All my programs are also fully updated, although I know reinstalling windows will fix this problem, but I'm sure there is a solution.

Oh yes, I also ran Vundo and ATF-cleaner, but that didn't help either.

Hello, I'm having a problem with windows explorer and I'm wondering if any one knows how to fix this problem. This is my problem: The start bar and desktop icons keep disappearing and reappearing. I found out this happens because under "processes" in the task manager the explorer.exe keeps disappearing and reappearing. Fortunately I can fix this problem by entering task manager , selecting "new task" under "Applications" and then typing in explorer.exe. Everything works fine from then on, but when I restart the computer it becomes unstable again. Does anyone know how to permanently fix this? It's not a virus and its not SpyWare. I scanned my computer for spyware using 3 programs (Ad-Aware, SpyBot and Spywareblaster), And all the junk I deleted didn't resolve the problem. My antivirus is avast! Home edition. I scanned the computer for viruses and all the viruses I deleted didn't resolve the problem. I defragmented the computer (I tought this was going to fix my corrupted explorer file) but nothing. Please, anyone who knows how to permanently fix this problem it would be a great help if you could tell me. Thanks to anyone who tries and/or helps me.
