It seems to me like 3DS is a new system, though, granted, info is light at the moment, so it's anyone's guess. And the fact that "DS" is in the title does not mean it's just a re-done DS. Is the XBox 360 a re-make of the XBox? PS3 a re-make of the PS? GBA a re-make of the.....you get the picture......Plus, the IGN article says it's "backwards compatible" with DS games. Why would it need backwards compatibility if it was a remake?
