@mentalrevolt: Indeed, I completely share and agree with your outlook and desire to fight against the BS. It's just not always practical or fair considering how one-sided our legal system is. In this instance, money definitely talks and Nintendo has much more of it at their disposal, I'm sure. Thanks for the reply and have a great day!

@mentalrevolt: Your mentality is correct, but the way the real world works is not so nice and shiny.

I work in the insurance industry and frivolous lawsuits are not only very common, they're very successful in forcing a Defendant to settle/give up or risk spending tens of thousands to "be right".

The common saying goes something like "If someone stole $10.00 from you, would you spend $100,000.00 of your own money to recover the $10.00 and be right?". More often than not, the answer is no. Here in TX, not only do the scumbag attorneys receive attorney fees they also have no cap on how much they can charge; you could lose a lawsuit over a $299 Nintendo Switch and then be liable to pay an additional $250,000.00 in attorney fees... Attorneys literally do not need any facts or evidence to sue you and force you to spend money to defend yourself. Nintendo would bury this guy in litigation until he folded. If you could afford it and fight it, good for you. That's still not a guarantee that you would win and it would literally take a zero-verdict to ensure that you aren't responsible for attorney fees. If Nintendo was awarded any type of damages at all (which would be very likely) you are still on the hook to pay their attorney fees. It may not be fair or righteous, but that is how our legal system works. I too find myself in a quandary each day is I am forced to decide between spending tens of thousands to fight a lawsuit and "be right" or give in and settle for a much smaller amount. It may not be just or fair, but it is smart for a business to protect their assets and scumbag attorneys are very aware of that. @superklyph is 100% correct.

@ArabrockermanX: "Despite popular belief, frivolous lawsuits aren't common, they would need something to bring this case to court" --- You must not live on the same planet as I do. Day 1: PS FANBOYS: 'who cares it'll be back up in a day. xbox sucks." Day2: : 'it'll be back tomorrow. xbox sucks" Day 3: "who cares, xbox was offline for two weeks. xbox sucks." after two weeks: "guys, theyre working on it. i'd rather it be offline for a month and us be more secure. xbox sucks" the fact is, it should have been secure FROM THE START. the used outdated software and NO firewall with information i trusted them with. I have PS PLUS, Qriocity anddownloaded content. ALL of these things seemed to elude the PS fanboys commen sense when spamming the forums about how 'its free' and we should stop complaining. BOTTOM LINE: if youre under 18, your opinion doesnt matter anyway. if youre over 18 and are still defending Sony, then they have you right where they want you. Sitting with your money in your hand waiting to spend it on only them with the word SUCKER written across your forehead. grow up and get real. these people are supposed to compete for your business. you've thrown yourselves at their feet like lapdogs. epic fail on your part...

To all of the MORONS that blindly defend Sony to the death, here is a newsflash: NONE OF US HAS ANY TYPE OF 'PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP' WITH ANY GIANT CORPORATIONS. it is completely ridiculous that anyone, ANYONE, would be so ignorant that in an event like this they just keep on defending the company. We may enjoy sony games, playstation services and PSN but when something of this proportion occurs it's time to take a step back and demand answers. We ALL engage in customer/corporation relations and the bottom line is: if the company cant continue to offer the services I want, then the 'customer/corporate' relationship is over. I myself own all three current systems, enjoy them all and spend a lot of money on them. The battle of 'xbox is better, no ps3 is better' is moot when personal information and credit cards get involved. In times like this, it is up to ALL OF US to put the screws to Sony and make them rethink their policies. I've watched these comments from day 1. I was ON the PSN when it went down. And this has been what I have viewed:

i also happen to be a fan but seriously, ive already played this same game a trillion times. DBZ tenkachi, DBZ tenkachi 2...its the EXACT SAME GAME with different animations on the moves. and on top of that, it stops at rhe cell saga?? why? DBZ budokai 3 was perfect, and u got to play as buu and the great apes and even the human form of buu (i forget his name). ill buy it when they come out with part 2 or 3 and i can play ass ALL the characters.
