Although wether or not we know if its a port of FFXII i doubt it would be, as its on PS2, although aparently this is a prequal or spin off from FFXII, Called Final Fantasy XII: Revenant wings.
(Aparently most likely going to be a sequal)
Looks like we will be seeing more Final Fantasy Titles on the DS since the FF3 engine is now perfect for making FF games on DS.
Also a Kindom Hearts game has been announced for the PS2 and a new DS game Based on the Of Mana series called Heroes of Mana.
