does 348 watts sound right for the following

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHz

EVGA 132-YW-E179-TR LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 790i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000)

8800 GTX

2 10,000 RPM WD Raptors

and a DVD-Rom drive in a Full size tower?

I just wanna make sure I'm not screwing up this estimate, I really thought that was gonna be quite different

anyone know of a site I can use to double check an estimated amount of watts I would need out of a PSU for an upgraded rig I'm doing shortly?

post a review of the graphics card on newegg and it'll probably get spotted by one of EVGA's damage control reps and hopefully they'll straighten things out for you

I didn't push the cord all the way into the floppy drive so it wasn't functional. I thought I had done it properly, but I had to go back & unhook & repop it into place & the 2nd time it went further in. Otherwise, that was it, besides taking forever cuz I was a nervous wreck due to the money I was investing in it.

So long as you continue to buy pre-built computers you'll see more of the same issues. Personally, I'd suggest doing some research & building your own if you have the time to do so.

My jaw dropped when I watched Planet Earth. Turn on the surround sound, relax, & immerse yourself if you decide to get this one.

Currently, I use a ABIT KN9 AM2 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra with my 4200+ & I am curious if it would bottleneck a phenom?

Any thoughts & tips would be greatly appreciated.
