UFC Undisputed 2009!

I have heard so much stuff about this game and trust me, I am psyched! I cannot wait for what WILL be the best Ultimate Fighting Championship game ever made! :D I remember purchasing the Dreamcast game, back when UFC was yet to be owned by Zuffa LLC. It was fun! I couldn't wait until I could go watch one of their Pay-Per-Views. But, UFC was in deep trouble. People weren't giving it the credit it deserved, and they were being banned from doing events in certain states, the reason being that they had very little rules at the time, and were pitting guys up against fighters who outclassed them in all aspects. They could not get State Athletic Commissions to see that they were a sport rather than a spectacle, until Dana White and Zuffa LLC purchased them from SEC. He brought it back from being a "diamond in the rough", to being an actual sport. Many games have come out after this purchase, and the only two ones that were any good, UFC: Throwdown and UFC Tapout, are too old. That's why Dana White and THQ have come together to make a game that super cedes all the others, and proves itself to hold the UFC name. In conclusion, I cannot wait for this game, and I hope it does do better than the latest attempt at an MMA game, UFC: Sudden Impact.

Itagaki, Gone? My boat has sailed.

Damn, to believe Itagaki would jump off of Tecmo's cruise ship into murkier waters. I can see why, not getting a promised bonus for a game you created would piss anyone off. Also, what they said to him after he voiced his opinion bites too, "If you don't like not getting that bonus, you can either sue or leave the company." That backfired, though, because he's planning to do both. He's already left Team Ninja, and he's also suing the company over that bonus. I know if I was supposed to get a bonus for something as big as Dead or Alive 4, I would be pissed if I didn't receive it posthaste. I will though miss Itagaki, he made Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden what they are today, and I was blissfully awaiting a DOA 5, but now that will never happen. :sigh: Some things can never come true, I guess.

I got a deep feeling in the pit of my heart.

You know what's the scariest thing to watch? Watching someone get demoralized by his/her own father. I got a room full of screaming, crying, and misunderstanding going on behind me. It's torture, but I've seen worse. When you're trying to figure out your own problems, trying to balance a mid-pubecant life, the only thing worse is seeing someone else's life fall apart right before your own eyes. Hearing someone who gave you life crying and bawling in front of the one who gave him/her life just leaves a dark, empty, evil feeling in the deep recesses of my heart. The last day of my week-long vacation was supposed to be fun and happy, but not when two people who are extremely sensitive are in the same room together. One little thing could set off a fight that could shake the foundations of the very building which many people reside. That's what happened. Even the combined efforts of the three masters of the house and all the Musketeers in the world could not bring the fight to an abrupt halt, but yet to a slow, trudging stop. This was just supposed to be happy, but yet, it is not.

Welcome to my Nightmare.

  1. Hmm... How long have I been here? Three years and still no blog entries. I thought I'd never get to doing this on a regular basis. Well, to start things off, I have been collecting games since I was 5. That's when my mom decided to buy me my fist system, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Gawd! This was one awesome system when I was young. I used to religiously play Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, and Super Star Wars, although the one I was the best at was, of course, Kirby Super Star. I got so good at every mini-game in this collection. The only ones I had trouble with were Samurai Kirby, The Great Cave Offensive, and Meta Knight's Revenge. I never got to play Milky Way Wishes, but I predict that it would have been tougher than MKR. Now, I used to take good care of my games, except for one little incident where I, being 6 at the time, put my copy of Super Star Wars under the bathroom sink and washed it clean because it wouldn't load up. I had no idea that you were NOT supposed to do that. The SNES was fine, but the game bit the dust. It was alright, though, because I couldn't even get past the Sarlac Pit Monster in the FIRST STAGE. Then after that, I over time received a Genesis, 2600, 2 Play-stations (One broke so I bought another), 2 N64s (I gave my first one away), 1 Sega Dreamcast (Yes, I never got to try the Saturn), 1 PS2, 1 Gamecube, 1 XBOX, 1 Game Boy Color, 1 Game boy Advance that I ended up giving away, and 1 DS that got stolen. Oh, one last thing, and don't judge me for this. I use ROMs and am proud of it!:D
