First off...
PS3 Wins!
I bought it online. Why online?
If you live in Australia, Europe, or pretty much any place
else other than North America or Japan, then you must be
familiar with PAL, and how it's incompatible with NTSC.
Not only are the games incompatible, but unless you have
a multiplatform television set, it won't even work with the TV.
Since I buy most games from the US anyway (which is NTSC),
and since the TV I have here is multiplatform, I decided to get
the NTSC model. I hate how it's region locked like that...why
can't they make the next-gen consoles region-free?
Why can't they make ALL next-gen TVs multiplatform?
Will it always be like this?!
There's also the part about the charger (110v or 220v),
but that all depends on how your home's
electrical wires are set up,
and it can be fixed with a simple adapter.
It's ridiculous really...
I got the PS3 Slim, 320 GB.
I wasn't sure how many GB I would need
but the price of 250 GB was about the same so...
I also got:
Portal 2
Duh. This is number one on my wish list.
I'm looking forward to playing it.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
This is one of the few games that got a perfect 10 score.
I haven't played a stealth game since Splinter Cell on
the PS2 (yes I had a PS2...I STILL have a PS2)
It looks pretty good.
LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year Edition Bundle
This one comes with an extra controller.
I've never played LBP so this is the time to start.
It was also the only controller-game bundle that
wasn't sold out, but the only one I probably would
have gotten. I could get LBP from PSN's 'Welcome Back'
thing, but you have to have an account that
was created BEFORE the site went down...
(which is unfair because the PS Store is STILL down...)
If they change their mind about the BEFORE,
I guess I'll get inFamous and some other game.
Don't criticize my purchase, please!
It's already paid for and I'm not in the mood to regret.
Anyway, it all won't arrive until two (maybe three) weeks.
Until the PS3 arrives,
I'm trying to beat all games I have on the Wii.
Right now, the games that I didn't beat are:
Donkey Kong Country Returns
I'm on (what I assume is) the last world,
which is world 8 (volcano world, a cla$$ic end)
Super Mario All-Stars: Limited Edition
I'm on World 5 in original SMB
Level 8-3 on The Lost Levels
On world 3 in SMB 2 (the one with the turnips)
Completed SMB 3 :)
Monster Hunter Tri
This one...I have trouble getting into.
I only did the first few quests,
and I'm not encouraged to do anymore.
Every time I play I waste more time than I gain progress.
It just feels kind of slow,
I wish I could just skip ahead to the big boss fights.
I beat ALL my DS games :D,
with the last of them being Plants vs. Zombies.

Hey! Maybe I should review it...
the PC version is the most popular,
but I don't think a lot of DS players have played it.
I actually haven't even picked a game to review...
I've been busy with school and trying to
beat the aforementioned Wii games.
Know I even regret writing any of my older reviews.
I feel like I wrote it when I was 6,
because it's so...just not well written.
I might be stubborn and rewrite my older reviews first.
…Remember when I said I was going to do a speed run
of my own custom-made Super Mario World levels?
I actually worked on creating them for a while, but then...
Well, have you ever drawn a picture that you
really loved at first, but then you start to discover
a few errors and you don't think it's very good anymore?
That's basi...
Long story short: I deleted the levels I made, and ended the project.
Also, I have an update on my progress on Pokémon Black.
My team failed...an epic fail.
The problem with the Battle Subway (AND Battle Tower)
is that along with creating an effective strategy,
the CPU player tends to pull a few strings
and have the luck factor in its favor.
I fought a Froslass with Brightpowder
(which lower's my Pokémon's accuracy), so the attacks just kept missing.
The CPU also kept using Taunt
(which lets me only use attacking/damaging moves)
and I couldn't set up Substitute or anything.
Not to mention the fact that Breloom only has two attacking moves
and Froslass resists one, and is even completely immune to the other.
When I finally beat it, all I had was Porygon-Z,
but the opponent had Quick Claw (which lets you attack first sometimes)
and Porygon-Z went down as fast as it came out.
Here's the team if you missed it

Well, the Professor Layton weekly downlable puzzles are over…
with the last puzzle being earlier this month.
It sucks, though, that Layton 3DS is not out yet (outside of Japan).
I beat all three of the DS Professor Layton games 100%
(all main, bonus, and weekly puzzles complete, all content unlocked).
Wow, big blog!
OST of the Week:
Super Mario Bros 3 - Title Theme
I love this one.
Sometimes I stay on the title screen for a while just to listen to it.
