Which version of Guilty Gear did you get? The game has had a lot of remakes in Japan, to give people new moves or balance out the characters and stuff. The newest one is Guilty Gear Accent Core, which is actually available in the states now. and that is the most recent version Japan has to date.

But yeah, I agree Guilty Gear is the best 2D fighter

Hey guys. If anyone here is a Guilty Gear fan the newest installment, Guilty Gear 2 Overture, is out in japan for 360.

I know the series isnt wildly popular here in the states, but it's enough to give it a fan base at least. Heck, there's a portion of the Evolution Fighting Game tournament dedicated to Guilty Gear. But regardless, think it might make the jump across the ocean?

It's vastly different from any of the fighting games they've had. I see it as like, Guilty Gear meets Devil May Cry and Dynasty Warriors. There is also a demo up on Xbox Live, you just need a japanese account to download it. I did and felt it played pretty good. The action was intense and there was no framerate issue, which I found awesome

I was just wonderin if anyone else was paying attention to this game or not
