Well thats my idea too, that something IS dying.. The PSU and MB are just an year old, so i hope its not them.. Ill google to find ways to check these parts :D

The reinstall helped - Diablo 2 lags no more, but Carma2 - still o.O As far as i know, the intel D can perform max at 60C, my ASUS motherboard - on the case it says that it can perform at 100C :D Thx for the replies :D

Hmm, ill check the HDD activity..Swap size is 2GB and OS is XP (sun) 2Gb is enough on my system, the main problem should be my CPU..

Ive checked the temps many times, CPU - 45C, GPU - 54C, MB 49C.. Ive defragmented my HDD, i even checked it for bad sectors.. Its not dust, the PC is just a bit more than a year old, except for the CPU, its prehistoric - 4 years :D Ive done all the normal stuff now.. I have just one more idea how i could solve this, a full format, but i dont want to lose all of my data :D Coulds a full format solve anything?

Hi, ive got a bit of a problem with my PC performance..

Im rigged with a Intel D 3.0Ghz, 2Gb ram, GF9600GT, 500HD - not the most powrfull PC, but no slowpoke either.

All of my games lag terribly. Oblivion for instance ~60fps in the first 10 minutes, then the fps drops to about 15fps, ive tried everything that came in my mind, but all stays the same. I started from cheching the drivers, to the tempratures. Swaped RAM, VGA,no change. Ran stress tests - with perfect results. Any ideas what could cause this? Old games perform like the new ones too. Carmageddon 2 even starts to lag after a while :@
