I cried when Aerith in Final Fantasy VII died. I mean, she was my favourite character at the time.

Anyways... I just think that there are certain forms of media, like movies and games, where you build a "bond" with a character and don't want to see them go. Not everybody does it, but there is a large percent that do.

Tetris. It remains my favourite puzzle game... ever.
