The Playstation has been my favorite console since the PSX. Not because of Sony, but because it's been the system that most of my favorite games have come out on. In other words I'm not a fanboy, but I've always been partial to the Playstation, and I still think this recent article on how to make the PS3 more appealing is well deserved and on point. I think what they're doing with Home is awesome, but they still have alot of work to do in other area's, as mentioned in the article.
Personally I don't buy games based on who the developer is. Althout, the name may have me take a look at a game initially. For instance, I usually check out anything from Square-Enix, Capcom, Rare, etc. Generally though, if I see something that looks interesting to me I just keep track of it regardless of who puts it out. Watch trailers, gameplay videos, read up on it, etc. These days with the internet and all I actually find it hard to make a bad game purchase. All it takes is a little research.
I saw it Friday. I must admit I was totally blown away by this movie. It is now easily my favorite film of this nature (ie: Gladiator, Braveheart, etc.). The direction of the swordplay was nothing short of a masterpeice. The lighting and special effects were absolutely stunning. Although, Sinc City and 300 are such different movies that you can't really compare them, it is safe to say that 300 is on par with Sin City as far as overall movie quality and entertainment are concerned. I'm now convinced that Hollywood can't screw Frank Miller. He won't let them.
I can make one. Any particular pics you have in mind or how you'd like it to look? Well message me when you read this if you want me to make one. I might forget to check back here.
