but the memory is too small...

if u compared 8800gts-320mb and 8800gts-640mb,u would find out that 88gts-640 is much better than 88gts-320 cuz the memory...

i wonder why DX10 games need at least 512mb if u run them on MAX......

BECAUSE he can use the stepup program and just pay the difference instead of paying for two cards he only has to pay for one. The 8600gt is a great card for 100.musclesforcier

Thanks for the advice, I'll consider the step-up idea. And its hard for me to consider the X1950 when you say that its impossible to run Stalker maxed, because my step bro is sitting right next to me on a comp with similar specs but he has the BFG mobo with a BFO 8800GTXOCE and he runs EVERY setting maxed out and runs at an average of 100FPS. :D Maybe I just didn't understand what you were saying though.4th3ist

How about just get a X1900 first which is only $90................

you can run lots of other games on MAX before u get 8800

At DX9 mode,8600 is much worse than 1950 and at DX10, 8600GT is just like slide show
