@Thanatos2k @Sw33tEscape Yes. However, it's only truly a survival game when you up the difficulty. If the difficulty is low enough it plays like an action horror game.
@megablast16 @Sw33tEscape @gokartmozart89 I meant that as in, if you remember when U3 came out a lot people was talking about how U3 was the end to Nathan Drake's story. Yet nearly 4 years later they're coming out with another Uncharted so it's obvious that Naughty Dog can change their mind when it comes whether or not to continue a story.

Or probably because they wanted to try something new. The thing is this new tone turned out to resonate with a lot more people.
Common sense tells you it make sense if Naughty Dog might want to capitalize on TLoU's overwhelming success (which was more successful than the Uncharted serious) by giving U4 the same tone as TLoU. Naughty Dog is just assuring people that they aren't going to do that.
