the only time i have ever experienced lag on the PSN is during a full match of 60 players on Resistance2

the wifi on the ps3 will find pretty much any signal it can,

i've found neighbors signals that were pretty weak but that is because they are in a totally different house 50ft away

Warhawk is one of the best multiplayer games I have ever played.

I'm really curious as to what this "Starhawk" title is going to be..

After you do the 12,500 point demo (I think its called raisnig coin or something), the voiceover dude says there are a couple of extra contests still to go, but they don't actually show upp in the challenge list, any idea ?

I have finished everything else, owned the spots, done the races and got th front covers of the mags, so what do I do from here, should i buy the two properties ?

I gues what I want to know is how do I finish the game, like the first; I want my closure, I want to hear the dude tell me I am the SOTY or something and then I will have my closure and be able to tear more shreds off the noobs online.

has anyone finished yet, and what was the final challenge, ? I almost feel s though I have gone as far as I can go, at least I will once I have finished off those 3 challenges...

can I still finish without finishing off the 3 challenges I am stuck on- I know that I can handle the manual challenge and nose to gap to tail mission, but that GIRL challenge has epic fail written all over it.

Anyway, as always, thanks for the advice..I want to finish this game !!!! What was your final hurdle ? And where do I find those extra skate comps that were mentioned after the coinage demo.

buy the two properties for sure..
i believe that will open up some more challenges for you

but there is a final cutscene and you will get some closure, but with some questions too :D
and im sure you can achieve the cutscene without completing all of the pro challenges
cuz i completed them all AFTER the final cutscene

my hurdle was the lame challenge with jake brown... took foreverrrrrr until i found a cheap way to do it

this game was deffinately challenging, some of the tasks just seem impossible

this demo is massive at over 1700MB!

and yet i feel that the first skate. was wayy better :/
i was a little dissapointed with the look, and even the new controls... something just doesn't seem to 'click' like the original
it seems fake (even though it is a video game :P), but it didn't feel like skating was portrayed like it was with the first one :/
bummed me out, i've been waiting for this game forever!

BUT.. this is only a demo, and i am hoping the game is a different product
the controls seemed very stiff.. and it felt like they shifted towards more of a tony hawk vibe, which suckssss!!

warhawk has no single player storyline.......... NO SINGLE PLAYER STORYLINE! :shock:
now that was something to be worried about,

it's all about the online multiplayer now, with built in wifi why wouldn't you focus your attention to that aspect?? it would be foolish not to

i have a logitech quickcam and it works for chat sessions and stuff
but i don't think itd work with things like aqua vita :?

Guys, this is no joke, and I need help.

I was playing Fallout 3 just a few min. ago (I had been playing for like an hour maybe) and sudenly, my PS3 just shut itself down!

I was like "Oh what the hell" (there was no electric shortage or anything) and proceeded to turn it on again (the little red light was on). I tried with the controller but it was no use, so I got up to turn it up on the console. I worked for about 2 seconds then the thing went off completely!

Listen: I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but, as fellow PS3 users, you should know how worried I am. It's a 60GB NTSC model and I love it more than my wanky (well... not exactly, but CLOSE!). Should I send it to repairs? Or is there a way to fix it up? Please guy, I need an answer.

but this happened to me once, and my cat had halfway unplugged the ps3 cord from the wall... so make sure everything is plugged in tightly...
other than that id say send it in :(
