Midnight Club: Los Angeles

At this point my blog has just become a place formy short reviews of games I'm playing...

So I picked this game up on Black Friday. Had many things going for it; L.A., cars, music, and most importantly, Rockstar Games

I'm from California and I've been through L.A. more times than Ican count. This game actually does look and feel like Los Angeles. The music is decent. The characters look good enough and the scenery is awesome. The only problem I've come across would be the difficulty. The racers are definitely too smart and get very random boosts of speed if you're winning by too much. It's overly challenging but it's fun enough. Multiplayer is pretty crazy since most people on there have been playing for a while now.

Looking forward to the next installment in the series.

Grand Theft Auto.

This is a series I just don't see myself ever getting tired of. Rockstar really knows what it's doing. They can use the exact same plot formula for the rest of the series and I'll keep buying the games and enjoy it the entire way. I'm definitely hoping the next game is set in Vice.

If you aren't playing Grand Theft Auto only because you've heard bad reviews from other players then you're a shmuck.

Halo 3: ODST

This has got to be one of the best games I've ever played. I prefer this to Halo 3 for sure. The new characters, theme, music and setting really grab your attention. The VISR is pretty sweet too. I hope Reach incorporates ideas from ODST.

Halo Legends anime

So I watched episode one of Halo Legendsat twelve AM this morning. It was really great. The animation was incredible. Not sure why but they removedsome time this evening or afternoon. I was really looking forward to watching it again...

Anyways, it's currently only on/off Halo: Waypoint on Xbox 360. If you are a fan of Halo or anime, I suggest you watch it (when it gets put back up) (maybe they only let you watch it once...).

Playing Halo 3

I have never played a Halo game before a few days ago but I finally rented Halo 3. This is the most fun I've ever had playing a FPS. I've always preferred TPS's. Definitely as good as it's made out to be.

My emblems were taken away from me

This is starting to annoy me. First I lost the one I got for rating my games very high. No reason for it to be taken. I didn't vote low, it just dissapeared. Then they took my emblem for having only high rated games in my collection. I didn't add a low level game. Then they took my emblem for having mainly 360 games. This is fuggin nuts. What a system. :/

Too many games, not enough cash?

I myself have suffered from this. Then I signed up with Gamefly. You've probably heard of it if you live in the U.S. You've probably even seen ads for it here on Gamespot. It really s the best way to play the newest games around without having to dish out sixty bucks to buy it or ten to rent it at a video store. The normal plan is fifteen a month for one game out at a time. They mail you the game and you mail it back in the provided envelope when you're done, they then mail you the next game on your waiting list. It's a really good way to try new games without much spending cash.

I wasn't asked to promote them or anything. I just thought I'd spread the word since I love the service so much.

Bought some games today

The Incredible Hulk and Devil May Cry 4, both for 360. They were used, buy one get one free at ten dollars. I love the Devil May Cry series and 4 doesn't dissapoint. Hulk on the other hand, is pretty annoying. Fun for a while. Mostly boring and annoying. But I'm a hulk fan so I have a soft spot for it. The extra skins are pretty awesome. Grey Hulk is the best.

Devil May Cry 4. Play it if you haven't yet.
