Excellent thread. Ive been waiting so long for a DOA game, can't believe its been 7 years since the last console release and over 10 since release on a PlayStation platform :o Im loving the changes though, the faces have never looked better and the power blow/stun damage will definitely add a lot to the standard gameplay. Feel free to add me folks. DOA5 is most likely going to be my last retail purchase of the year at least one with online play, so I am going to be clocking in many hours fighting online, assuming it runs like butter.

Getting it this Friday. Its been almost a decade since I owned a DOA game, DOA3 being the last though I did try Ultimate and DOA4. Cannot wait to learn Brad Wong again and oggle at Lisa :P
I am not a Bayonetta fan but if such an IP cannot be turned into a franchise it's a major disservice to gaming. MUCH respect to Nintendo for supporting Platinum and resurrecting the IP as well as publishing Wonderful 101. These two games are absolutely killer apps worthy of purchasing the system for. I am seriously considering it, I cannot fault the launch line up at all tbh.
I felt Uncharted, Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid.
I cannot praise ND enough for releasing a new IP this late in a gen.
Kojima wants SH to be made using FOX engine and doesn't say anything about personally doing it himself. Right now SH is a completely destroyed franchise and has been since Team Silent disbanded, without someone like Kojima on board I don't have any faith in a future SH title.
