Good story, brutalized by an immersively unnecessary amount of cutscenes for a storyline that can be summed up in 2 sentences...

By the time I made it through, I was more confused and annoyed than blown away. No offense, I know people love it.

How could it be summed up in 2 sentences... enless its 2 very long run on sentances. i personally dont mind the cutscenes except for the ones where they are explaining history or talking about the metal gears which they explained a hundred times before lol

Just wondering if i get mgs 4, (my dads getting a ps3 for blu-ray and it comes with mgs4) will i be able to understand it and be satisfied with the story in the game?

i would highly recomend getting the background dvd first, that really helped me understand the story alot better, i player all the games and i still would get confused

okay i am new to the 360, but i am looking for a game with a great story, the longer the better, i have a ps2, a ps3, an original xbox, and of course the 360. a game for any of them would be fine, i just want to play a game with a captivating story,, i finished eternal sonata, and i just started lost Odyssey. ive played the final fantasy games 7-12 (with the exception of 11) and i fell the story telling has started going down hill, but anyways im liiking for something new, post any ideas that come to mind, ohh and please only released games, im already waiting for quite a few games to come out already, thx

alright ive had a ps3 for about 4 weeks now and its all been great, i have two tvs in my room, one is a really small one with cable and the red white and yellow plugs. that is the one i play games on, i also have a much bigger one with no red white or yellow plugs i watch tv with that one. now im sick of playing games with this tiny tv, if i wanted to play games on something that small i would have gone ahead and bought a psp instead. the big tv i have only has a cable plug. is there a cable or something i can buy that takes the data from the av cables and feeds it through the cable line, like a vcr? i have an old vcr but it deosnt work at all, and im tired of trying to fix it

i have read all the guides on how to connect my ps2 to the internet and im still clueless, the problem is i dont know what it is that people are talking about. im going to just say what i have available to me right now and maybe someone can fill me in on what exactly i need.

1.playstation 2 (slim version)

2.cox internet

3. memory cards (with more than enough space for anything)

can someone fill me in on what else i need to buy, i would like to have online capabilities as soon as possible
