It seems like I'm not getting the timing right with the R3 button when the dogs attack you. Anyone else with that problem? I've only been able to successfully pistol whip the dogs once. And the 5 instances where I've encountered dogs, I've failed to knock them off. And I'm asking myself, "Wtf?! I know I timed it right. That's bullsh*t!" I've resorted to burying the dogs under 50 rounds of bullets. Go ahead, call PETA. lol.

Well it wouldn't be the first time the PS3 was surrounded about stories of violence. Remember the day it launched. People got shot at, trampled on, and beat up on just to have that shiny black system.
Are the developers actually pushing out quality games for the PS3? Ratchet and Clank Future and Call of Duty 4 are very promising. So do the upcoming titles this holiday and first quarter of 2008. From a financial point of view,is the PS3finally going to give the 360 a run for it's money as far as games are concerned?
It's normal for the PS3 to get warm, but hot... I don't think so. Where do you keep your PS3? Keep it well ventilated.
What I mean is... I'm moving into a new apartment and I'm not going to have internet for awhile, so I won't be able to play Call of Duty 4 online. I know, it's killing me too. Especially since it's the bulk of the game. Is the single player campaign on COD 4 worth forking out $60? I heard the campaign will only last about 6 hours or so, so that really shakes my confidence in buying COD 4 for the campaign alone. Even though there is an arcade mode to add to the replay value, I'm still not convinced.I just really want to play the online multiplayer as well, but due to the circumstances, you guys can only imagine how it feels to not be able to play the best part of the game. Is it really worth spending hard earned money justfor the single player campaign?
I want to know what people's opinions are about this game? Are there any differences between the ps3 version and 360 version? Graphics-wise and gameplay-wise?I love playing basketball games but they only hold my attention for about a month of so into the purchase (I don't know why that is), does that happen to anyone else?
