I got a 360 since August and I'm perfectly happy with it. Don't worry about a new system coming out anytime soon because Microsoft already said Natal will be the sequel to the 360 (ugh).
It's pretty decent. The coolest thing about the game is the biotics but once you get used to those it's an above average game.
