So making an exclusive game to one system is downplaying? i wouldnt say that.. im guessing he wants to be loyal to his fans on the PS brand and want to give the games they always enjoyed.. look at how amazing MGS4 did

Not cool, a spoiler alert would be nice. Not all of have played it yet. Or are you trying to ruin the story so we have no reason to play the game now?

Additionally, I should have clarified by saying early lifetime of a console. A late gen or last gen console isn't going to be able to continue growth in tie ratio.

But a quick look at tie ratio over time easily shows there is a relationship between time on market and tie ratio, at least in the earlier years of retail availability.

I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility that the year's headstart played a part in a 360 owner on average having one game more than a PS3 owner.
