Blu-ray gives us more room so games can be on just 1 disc. Blu-ray also gave us mandatory installs. Blu-ray also gave us a $599 console assuring Sony's loss of market share. Take from that info what you will.
yes it does. MGS4 is pretty weak graphically i mean just look at the ugly low rez textures it has!

Have you even played mgs4. Its won graphics of the year on many sites
dont care what other sites say, the game simply does not look that good to me
I agree, MGS4 does not look that good to me either. The character models look great but, the textures in the background dont look very good to me. I was never impressed by that game.
I know about 20 people with a 360 only. I know of 3 people with a PS3 and of those 3, 2 of them own 360's as well. Oh, and I live in Boise Idaho for a geographical comparison. And we are all in our 30's as well.
Hardware or software? Hardware, Xbox wins as the PS2 was a pile of junk. Software the PS2 win easily though, it simply had more games to choose from, although the grafix on multiplats were inferior on the PS2.
My 4 year old son prefers my 360. His favorite games are Banjo Kazooie, Ultra marble blast (xbox arcade game), Viva Pinata Party animals, Feeding Frenzy (xbox arcade), and L4D...lol. On my PS3 he LOVED LBP for a while and then got bored of it, but still plays it from time to time. There just seems to be more for him on the 360.
Yes, had a near launch system that got it after about a year and a half. Warrantied it out. When it broke my girlfriend didnt know it was under warranty and bought me an elite. I sold the repaired launch system to a friend and it still works. My elite got it once about a year ago. Got it warrantied as well and it is still fine.
