I think that you have to look at their rankings as a guideline. I have no interest in skateboarding......So it wouldn't matter to me if Tony Hawk scored an 11. I think when you read their reviews they cover the good and the bad. I wish we could rank games bygenre, and then overall rank and then by price

Koho17 I've been using it .....and have wondered the same thing. The download speeds fluctuate constantly, I downloaded a demo the old way and it was much faster, and like you said.....The download always goes to to your desktop.I've already got enough cluster going on there. I shouldn't have to move them to where I want it to download in the first place

Actually.......Castle Wolfenstein 3D was the precursor for the first FPS. Doom raised it to another level, I agree it was something nobody ever experienced before. The question is too broad for one defintive game to claim as the best. Each genere has it's own best   With that said...Doom was the game responsible for IBM to forbid it's employees from playing it online during business hours. I would have to say that Oblivion IV , Company Of Heroes,Civilization IV and Nascar 2003 .........not only look good, but they capture the spirit of that genere
